The pix for putting the easel together are the only semi bad thing about this easel. (Hard to see right sides and wrong sides in pix. ) BUT the easel is perfection! The wheels are easily moved and the wood is so sturdy!! I feel more than professional.

First off let me say this is a nice easel. After some round and round due to unclear assembly instructions we got it put together and it looks great. Having had a single knob canvas holder for years the dual knob canvas holders will take some getting used to but I can see how they'll provide more support than a single knob variant.
One of the long two piece wood pieces that holds the center shaft is warped at the top so I don't know how durable it will be in the long-term but after assembling the easel I'm not about to disassemble and return for a replacement. Too much work.
This easel isn't designed for a tall person to paint at standing up but more for someone sitting on a stool. I should have looked at the dimensions more carefully because I do enjoy mixing up sitting and standing while I paint.
My biggest issue with the easel is when in the vertical position it doesn't lock in place. For example you could have a canvase or board on the easel and if you push too hard or perhaps grab the canvas/board while doing detail work there is a good chance it will fall backwards as it tries to move into a horizontal position. I've tried tightening the tension knobs and wing nuts but it still falls backwards. The solution I came up with is wrapping two velcro straps around the lower parts which prevents this from occurring.

Loved the paper but would not reorder due to the fact that the watercolor block was shipped wrapped in plastic. The edges were damaged as it had no protection.

All the parts were present and in good shape. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The easel is comfortable to use and I am very glad I purchased it. The one glitch is that a location where there was supposed to be 3 pre drilled holes was marked but not drilled and required a drill to be able to screw in the 3 screws. Fortunately I had a friend who was able to do this for me.
