I’m a beginner amateur artist, and I wanted something that wouldn’t break the bank but also sturdy. I don’t have a lot of space, so I appreciate the small footprint and foldability. Easy to put together. However, for those who want to tilt their work forward, that’s not possible with this easel. Also, although two canvases can fit on the easel, the top of the bottom canvas can only be 46 inches max off the ground. You would have to sit in order to paint on it. I’m 5 feet tall, and when I stand, it’s too low for me. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase.
A wonderful, flexible easel that is perfect for my art studio, which has a rather low ceiling, therefore I need to be able to raise the support bar without the centre piece going up with it. Its ability to go a horizontal position is also a bonus for me. It was good value for money. Love it and love the colour too (walnut). Thank you Meeden!

Can't fault the over design and quality of the product. Well machined quality materials. Good and weighty. Great range of adjustments too. It is however pretty (very!) fiddly to assemble. Nonetheless I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.
This is by far the best easel I have ever had. It is sturdy and very easy to adjust to whatever size canvas I choose to paint on. It arrived in perfect condition and took less than an hour to put together the few parts that needed to be assembled.

Instructions could be much more clear (please print them bigger or offer an online pdf to zoom out). One of the pre-made holes for screws was too big or the wood was damaged. Overall it feels like the wood arms could be a bit thicker. Looks nice and all but I wouldn’t change the tilt too often as it creates tension and the screws in those thin arms can become loose. The delivery was prompt.
No negatives about this ease. It’s size makes it great for small spaces, you do sacrifice some of the conveniences of a larger easel, a shelf for example.
In theory, this has some great features. However, it falls short on execution. The pieces aren't tight fitting so adjustments require a lot of fiddling to make sure everything is square. Nothing fully tightens so moving the easel around results in the frame losing its set position. Also, the ledge where canvases sit has no nubs or strips to raise the canvas above the front lip. Same for the top piece.
