Super loving everything about my special Art table. I keep it at a slant until using it at whatever angle I want. But my secret is to keep this art table at a slant because it is so elegant shows off my work and I am not tempted to put anything on top of it just because it is a table. So it remains my "special pleasure table".

It was so satisfying to put together! Like a piece of jewelry all the steps were so clear precise easy.

I am hoping to get the matching vintage stool soon. I really do love this artist's retreat to creativity desk.

I may not be great artist but I have never had a job. Worked art all my life. My industrial workshop is one thing my pleasure art desk is so pleasing to look at inviting me to step into an art experience. It also can hold a book or two making a statement in the room. I will put a soft cutting mat down on it every time I create but keeping it clean art healthy and stimulating inviting this is how to enjoy art.

Likes: Unbelievable finish instruction manual and parts. Everything fit and they give you the tools to assemble. Outside box corner showed some crushing but the packaging was sufficient to buffer the delivery handling. It comes with a T-square that matches the appearance of the drafting table with measurements in cm and inches which might come in useful.

Dislikes: It's really too short for my workbench (my fault for not double checking) but I raised it up to its highest notch (using one handle on each side for the elevation instead of two) yet it's sturdy enough for my purposes of taking off lines and measurements for building a model ship namely I won't be leaning on it as when one is doing technical drawing. It's a retro design meaning that it's not easy to adjust like modern devices we've become used to but I'm willing to trade the look for the adjustment and am well pleased with the product overall.

Perfect just as i thought

I previously bought a ceramic palette from Meeden which was good quality and value which prompted me to consider other products. I had this in my Amazon list for quite a while. I was bit hesitant because of the price and the space it would take up. It was recently on offer (50% reduction) which was enough of an incentive. I ordered at 10pm and it arrived at 2pm the next day. Assembly was very easy. They even include a good quality screwdriver. It’s very good quality materials. Only issue during assembly was I got one piece with the word Meeden upside down. It’s since proven invaluable for drawing. The table is A1 size which is perfect for my needs. The T-ruler is brilliant for drawing grids and frames. I have a slight concern about whether the drawing surface will be durable in the long term so bough a drawing mar from IKEA to keep it protected (£6). It is relatively to the ground but perfect level for sitting at a settee otherwise stools are relatively cheap. It’s easy to adjust the height and even easier to adjust the angle. Finding somewhere to keep it has been a challenge as it takes up quite a bit of space and settled for the conservatory. It’s light enough to move to another room when needed. Overall very glad I bought this and certain that I’ll get many hours and hopefully years of enjoyment. I’m sure that I would have the same view had I paid full price but then probably would haven’t been able to justify that level of spend.

Very good table regular to small size so no so big but perfect for painting and drawing even perfect for me to painting 60 x 60 canvas size. I really like it. It was well packed. It may be a bit dificult for some please to assemble this table as it need screw to fit little holes i the wood etc but it comes with all the tools you need. So good product i do recommend. Wood is in good quality but I was having a hard time putting up the screws.

It was a great Christmas gift for my son who loves drawing. The table is beautiful and looks sturdy. Great value for the price paid. ????

Aside from this being a beautiful piece of furniture every aspect of its design manufacture and functionality is superb as follows:
- the quality of all components is top.
- the accuracy of all dimensions and fits is perfect—assembly was problem free.
- the table is more rigid than they claim.
- the table height and tilt are adjustable.
- every component came wrapped or padded there was no damage or scratching.
- a quality screw driver and Allen wrench were included and no more was required.
- the illustrated manual was intuitive and left nothing unexplained.
- the feet are glides that slide on hard surfaces or rugs equally well.
*** …if you sit in a recliner the leading edge of this table will slide forward to reach your lap so you can write without reaching.
*** …I’m on crutches and practically live in my recliner but I can slide the table back stand and easily walk away.
(And yes I’m a calligrapher and retired manufacturing engineer so I know all this stuff…you can trust my independent and honest review—this truly is a great product!)

At first glance I thought it'd be too small but it holds everything I need on its top. I love the antique style of it. I'm very happy.

This table is almost too beautiful to use. No scratches no dents. The color is gorgeous. The craftsmanship is faultless. It took me 30 minutes to put together.

I purchased this table as a Plan B for another item that sold out. I'm satisfied with it and I believe that its quality is congruent with its pricing. I did not chose the set with the adjustable wooden stool as I already have a stool I prefer.

The things that are important to me in a drafting table are: stability/no wobble wood or melamine surface/no glass does not slip out of adjustment and that it's easy to move. This table was simple to put together. It came with very clear diagrams and well-labeled components. Tools provided are a small phillips head screwdriver and and small hex key. It took about 30 minutes for me to assemble the table start-to-finish.

The components for this table came wrapped in bubble wrap which protected it for most part. I did find a little cosmetic damage during assembly. There are a few small dings and scratches in places like the H-stand and the back of the table. These are not easily noticed unless someone inspects every inch of the table. All the cosmetic damage that I found looks easy to repair with some stain and wood putty. None of the damage affects the drawing surface.

During use the table is very steady. It takes a good bump to wobble it. I found the adjustments held firmly though the tightening knobs take quite a bit of turning to get them set. When adjusting the table for the first time you might want someone to help you 'float' the tabletop until you set your stand height. You can adjust the table height by yourself it just takes a little bit of bother. It's easy for one person to adjust and lock the angle.

As I stated in an earlier paragraph I got what I paid for. This is not an $1500 drafting table but it still makes a good basic entry-level table. The T-square is more for looks than use. If you use a T-square for your work you'll probably prefer a metal one. Keep in mind that this table is made more as a piece of furniture than a utility table. If you are buying this as an art student or someone going off to college; it will require more TLC to protect it from damage. The table top and angle hoops are simple to remove from the base. The table top and base are compact enough that they can be wrapped with quilts and put into the back on an SUV without completely disassembling it. Because it's wood you also want to protect the table top from cracks and warping. If well cared-for I expect this table should last a long time.

This is an excellent product and it has certainly found it's home in our conservatory. Not sure there is room for me though.

I am using this as a sit stand desk. I added wheels and it is both functional and attractive. It’s not as big as I envisioned but it’s adequate. Overall I am very happy with it.

This is a gorgeous table. It was really easy to put together. The parts are lettered - just follow the instructions and it comes with the necessary tools to assemble. There is a minor scratch on the corner (pictured) but it adds character :wink: otherwise the desk is almost too beautiful to put to use haha

Adjusting the height of the table requires me to unscrew everything each time. If it had a spring-loaded adjustment system, it would make changing the height much easier and more convenient.

This drafting table is of a high quality, very solidly built and easy to assemble.
