I ordered these so I could finish a picture I was making a mess out of because I needed fine detail brushes for the lines on this ship. The first thing I realized was they were slippery so I solved that problem by putting electrical tape on the wide grip area and that problem went away! My hands are always dry so the slippery surface was just that! Once I wrapped them with tape I found some wide rubber bands and added them over the tape and now I can grip them much better! All in all I love these fine tip brushes so much I'm buying a set for my artistic Grand Daughter and she loved the style when I sent her a picture of them. This sailing ship arrived last summer and came with cheep brushes I hated. I needed also to better my skill level so I bought a couple other pictures with less fine detail and worked on them. But as I worked my paints were drying out for the ship! I finally found some better brushes and worked on the sky and hull for a couple weeks then I had to get the better brushes. I ended up getting little sleep while I repaired the ugly areas I messed up with fat cheep brushes. Once I got into the finer details I was so happy I spent the extra money! My Grand Daughter cheered me on every day I sent her updated pictures and its been a long winter here in South Dakota! Today is May 6th and we have snow again! I'm getting ready to do the Last Supper picture and I would not attempt it without these great brushes! Word of caution! Don't lose the brush protectors! Put them back on after using one! Then the brush won't fray or bend. Buy them! You won't regret paying the extra money!

I have to say-these are the best quality micro brushes I have ever had. And- I have had some really expensive brushes go bad after a small amount of time! These are easy to hold and allow me to do the fine detailing as I have shown aboe. I paint beach stones among many other things and these allow for that fine detail. They work as well on larger portraits-for things like the lining and shading of eyes etc. I am an avid supporter of all things Meeden! I have a drawing table a table easel storage boxes for my pencils and pastels and now these lovely brushes-I cannot encourage you enough to try Meeden products-they are a wonderful company very high quality!

The best collection of small brushes I have used. Nice spring /return. Brush has stayed smooth after multiple uses and cleanings. Perfect selection of shapes. Love them.

Picked up a set for my son figured at that price I could try a set myself. Quickly became my favorite brushes. The only complaint is the tips don't hold their shape as well as hoped.

I bought these to use for detail paintings on watercolor. They have been super helpful and held up to daily use. The structure for holding them is very comfortable and helps with balancing the brush.
The only con is that some of the round brushes have lost their shape. This could be due to my own use though but after a little bit of remolding they stay together for the most part.
Overall I absolutely love these and would recommend them!

These brushes worked well for small details on a project I was working on (coasters). They only showed minimal signs of wear after using them for a 1-2 hours per day for a couple of weeks. The handle design was also more comfortable than previous brushes I have used.

Its very convenient that this set have different sizes. You do not know who small sizes till you need them!!! On a counterpart be sure that you do not leave a lot on the water clean right away. If you that you wo not have any problem.

These are a bargain. Amazing array of sizes and shapes for a cheap price. And I can do fine detail work without my hand cramping like with non-ergonomic brushes. Easy to clean and no bristles falling out.

Almost didn��t buy because other sets have little cases but don��t let that be a deterrent. I��m always moving to different holders for projects. The brushes are great
