I have used both this and the oil sets for a while now and I always find this brand paint to be of good quality especially for the price.

This is a great set for the occasional painter or students who need allot of color variety without breaking the bank.

Meeden gives you so many colors to choose from.

This is perfect for beginners.

You can mix so many different blends of colors.

It works great for canvas paintings.

This is very giftable for all ages.

This is a really nice paint set. The paint tubes are very small only 12 ml but there is a huge range of colors.
The medium bodied paints leave some texture if not spread smooth (desirable IMO) and dry shiny. There are also metallics and flourescents in the set.

Each color I tried had good opacity and blended nicely with each other.

This set includes 5 trays with 20 tubes of paint on each one. You get all the standard colors plus extra whites fluorescent and metallic colors. I usually see fluorescent and metallics sold separately so this is an awesome find. You can either grab this up for yourself or give it as a gift to the artist in your life. They'll love this set and have hours of enjoyment creating with it.

This set is extensive. The colors are vivid and have great intensity. The feel of the paint is silky smooth when picked up by my brush and goes a long way on the canvas- so much so that you'll want to test these out beforehand so you can meter out your paints on your palette appropriately for your project to reduce dried paint waste.

Pictured is a portrait of my son painted using these paints Below it is a canvas of my color swatching of the colors. As you can see the colors are diverse bright and opaque. Included in the colors are several fluorescent (and they really ARE fluorescent when applied to the canvas) as well as many metallic colors that shimmer in the light. All the go-to colors that professional artists use are included in this set: pthalo & Prussian blue ultramarine crimson red viridian & pthalo green yellow ochre & other yellows. I'm a bit puzzled why they only gave one tube of Mars Black while giving multiple tubes of two kinds of whites. But in the end the set as a whole is impressive.

I also believe that the way this paint goes on the canvas and the quality of the paint make these paints better than student grade. I highly recommend this set.

I have not had a chance to use them yet but look very much forward to it!

I am totally in love with the variety and beauty of these colors.

Not sure what to expect since this is my first time buying acrylic paints. The tubes don't have the foil seal under the lids. Not sure if they're supposed to. I purchased this set in an attempt to match 40 colors in a paint by numbers kit I let dry out. About half were perfect matches with only white/black mixes. I'm pretty confident any color i need to mix for a match is in the kit.

Also I can't wait to get into the metallics. All the colors are quite vibrant!

Perfect gift for budding artists! The quality allows for all kinds of ideas and styles to try.
Ordered for our oldest granddaughter who just loves all forms of art. Acrylics are not always affordable for young artists so gifting is the perfect solution. With this large set she has already created multiple items and is loving the color selection. Gives her an idea of what colors she will like (and use) the most ao she can spend her money wisely or request her specific needs.
Pricing fall in line with other similar products other than this set includes more color options than most.
Great starter set for sure!

This is great for beginners hobbyists even some experienced painting. I know the tube size is small but over all this is a great value. It will get you going painting with lots of color options and a little bit goes a long way due to the quality of the paint. There are lots of colors here including metallics and fluorescent paints (not super usual for paint sets). The paints are fairly heavy bodied and pigmented well. They are smooth when painting with them.

I especially appreciated the extra info on the paint tubes. The paints are all labeled with their paint color color code lightfastness (the plus) and opacity (the little box: filled in means opaque half filled means semi-translucent unfilled means translucent).

The combination of quality and quantity make this a great set!

The tubes are small but the paints work well. This is my second purchase. They are the best value I have found.

Great value for so many colours. Nicely set in colour families.

I am very grateful to have received these tubes of acrylic paint. 100 colors is a lot of colors. I not big into mixing a bunch of colors to come up with the one I want. With these I can't think of a color that isn't in this collection.
The texture of them is really thick. It is thick but really easy to thin down with a little water. The spread so easy and smooth. I didn't know what to expect but I really am impressed with the whole Meeden art line. They are great quality and the price is very affordable for what you get. I highly recomment these paints.
